Always wonder why people ask on here rather than just look at the Lancs League website.
I’ this digital world, it’s the equivalent of of posting a thread that says “anyone know what my bank balance is?”.

Maybe they want to discuss the results with other fans?
I’m hoping Lowerhouse get beat today.

In that case the post should probably read something like “I see Lowerhouse won/lost today, anybody go?”.
It’s all a bit weird that posters pretend they don’t know the result when they post. At 4pm today will anyone be posting “anybody know how Everton and Villa finished?”?

Because when someone mentions Lowerhouse lost and asks did anyone go it’s always met with silence.

I wonder why batting bonus points are awarded for such a low score that didn't even pass the opposition's score?

That's the second time in a matter of weeks that Norden have posted a very low score and defended it.

Over at Rawtenstall, East Lancs lost by 88 runs, being bowled out for 131 with the 61 year old Keith Roscoe taking 7-29 !!

It’s the way the points work, ie 1 point for getting within 50, 2 within 40 Upton a maximum of 5 for getting within 10.
I think it’s a great system albeit there is an anomaly in low scoring games like that one where you could argue a team does deserve them etc.

Possibly, Id say they've the better run in, I guess it would need Zaidi to be firing when they play Norden

Lowerhouse must be favourite with 2 home games and Burnley's poor record against them.
Is the poor bonus points haul for not bowling sides out though? That could be an issue? As could sub Pro's?
Don't let Darwen win it please. Keep it local

Good win for the House yesterday at Tod. Great following from the House faithful as usual.
4 wickets for Joe Hawke had Tod on the back foot from the start till a useful partnership mid-order got them to 136.
Tod were cock a hoop when they removed Ben Heap in the second over but a good partnership from Frankie Haasbroek and Charlie Cottom steadied the ship. The sub pro chipped in with a useful 36 of 47 . Charlie finished up with an undefeated 62 to see the West Enders safely home.
So the Lowerhouse juggernaut rolls on handily placed in second position but with some difficult games ahead.

I think Norden are playing with an "overseas amateur" this year instead of a pro. A young Aussie lad, not sure how he's performed.

Barring a potential winner takes all derby in the last game of the season, I’d argue that Burnley have the easiest of the run ins.
Darwen’s is a tough run in in my opinion, they are playing 3 sides that can beat anybody on their day, Walsden fighting for their lives with some outstanding players who’ve just not fired and a trip to Norden with Tolley and Zaidi is very tough. Tod are a good young side with some very promising players but with Bosisto now home getting the right sub pro could be difficult.
House would hope to be beating Rochdale but then a trip to Clitheroe is very tough as well before the derby on the last day.
All to play for a it looks to be a grandstand finish.

It's been a bit of a strange season for the House. We've won 2 more games than any other side up to now, however we've struggled get the additional 2 points by bowling the opposition out. Darwen have 8 more bowling points than us and should go into the last 3 games as slight favourites.
It's tight though. Some of the mid table teams will think that they have a outside chance if they win their remaining games.
As ever the weather will probably have some influence at the end of the day.
The ideal scenario would be a local derby title shootout with Burnley down at the House on the final day. Bring it on.

I think Tod's good position has been very much down to Bosisto and with him having gone I don't think they'll provide as strong as a challenge.
I notice 'Ouse were docked a point earlier in the season for a slow over rate in a match and at the moment they're just a single point off top spot. Let's hope that single point isn't the difference at close of play on the last day!!

Another stat this year is the number of games rained off. Lowerhouse have lost the least with just three but two clubs, Enfield and Walsden have had eight washed out.
On the subject of Walsden, what was the crime they committed that cost them sixteen points?
