So here we go. We may not have been the most entertaining team during the tournament but we've got some great players, a good mix of physicality and skill and an excellent manager.

I'm expecting an unchanged lineup but James could be an important sub now she is back in the squad.

Having just listened to Ian Wright being outclassed by the female pundits and making him look out of his depth, I think it's BBC for me

It is annoying, they need to sort it.

Imagine Jack Grealish taking that shoulder barge. He’d still be rolling around like he’d been shot.

I didn’t think the commentator on BBC could get any more annoying but now she has a sore throat she’s even worse.

I’ve switched to ITV.

But the commentators will have you think it was a "world class save".

We’re far too narrow at the back against speedy skillful wingbacks playing wide. Been opening us up all game and it happened again

The only way England are likely to win this will be down to Spain's ineptitude in front of goal.

So far we've been outclassed in so many ways. We are going to need a serious reset if we're going to play our way back into this game.

Women vs girls so far. Spain are controlling the tempo of the game, pressing high and look comfortable on the ball. England haven't managed to dominate possession at all. The positive is it's only 1-0 so it's certainly not over. We do look very much second best at the moment though.

Too slow at the minute, don’t look at the races. I expect us to step it up in the second half if we can avoid conceding another. Sticking with my 2v1 but going with an extra time winner

Her run is fine until she does one of the things I hate most in football, points to where she wants the player to be rather than where she is and then stubbornly takes another touch still trying to play to where she wanted Toone, in to a space that’s not really there cos there’s a covering player.
Loses it and then does the hands in the air bit.
She had an option to give it to Toone un marked and in space but wanted her to run the wing, not her game
Poor arrogant play

James , Kelly and England need to be on Walsh is a liability in midfield too much back passing and lacking a decent tackle

It’s similar to England playing Spain in the men’s game. The Spanish are technically far superior.

You wouldn’t have thought so with some of the hype in the English media before this game.

“Everything stops at 11am on Sunday as nation hopes Lionesses can Bring It Home”

was the front page headline in Friday’s Evening Standard.

I've always struggled to see anything in her play that merits her reputation (and value).

Our midfield 3 have been woeful and totally disconnected from the front 2. Too static and too deep causing the front 2 to come looking for the ball
