I think we’ll come to realise spending £15m on Amdouni instead of Flemming was brilliant business.

Ashley having an excellent game and early doors yet but if I was a betting man I would have a fiver on Norwich for promotion

Thankfully there is some ‘other’ football to watch. I’ve zero interest in the women’s and havn’t watched any of it. Enjoyed the Spurs match yesterday and thought they played some good stuff.

Basher’s 100th league goal.
Looks like he has galvanised the Budgies.

Villa / Everton will be interesting and a closely fought match I reckon.
Everton very good last week and defensively sound as you would expect. Calvert-Lewin back today so they might score.
Villa very poor defensively last week and without Mings and Buendia.
Bookies seem to strongly fancy Villa, but I think a draw may well be the outcome.
If either team loses then we could be out of the bottom 3 by Friday evening.

Also had an assist as well as scoring-really pleased for Ash. Hope Norwich come up this year with our Ash leading scorer.

Millwall fans singing Rowett out, sacked in the morning, and his football is sh1t.
Not happy at all.

2-0 Villa now
Villa looking much better than at Newcastle, but Everton have been woeful and unable to put two passes together.

Pen for Aston Villa. Still can't believe we didn't get a pen against Norwich when you see Pickford's challenge.

Yes. Hopefully, they'll be as poor as last season.
Or preferably worse.

Just what work does Sean Dyche ever do with his players with the ball, apart from finding the channels? Nearly every pass is weighted poorly and very rarely does another player move into space to receive the ball.

Great to see Everton struggling again. It's about time they get what they deserve this season.
Emery is doing a great job. Should be 4 up already.

Villa doing some creative stuff with corners, not just putting them straight into the box. Would like to see us come up with some different ideas from set pieces.

Pickford should really stay off the drugs...chunnering away to himself, blowing raspberries and goalkeeping like a loon...the guy is consistently off his head.

Can't see the Everton fans putting up with performances like this much longer....Dyche is a dead man walking at that basketcase of a club.
This season surely must be their last in this league for a while.

And Dyche’s - with or without Everton.
I sometimes forget some of the dross we had to endure when he was in charge then I watch an Everton game and thank the Lord we got rid of him.

Everton were one of the lowest scoring teams in the PL last season with just 34.
If Dyche cannot get the players in to address the problem they are relegation candidates for sure.

“Defensive Disarray” not what you would normally associate with teams coached by Sean Dyche.

They have lost players and have no money to replace them. Their fans were hoping a bid would come in for Gray but I don't think they will make enough off him to buy the players they need. I also read the FFP decision was in October so they could be in more trouble if it is.

You feel it won’t be long before Sean starts selecting two goalies on the bench to make his point and cover his jacksy.
He’s lost Mina and Coady so he has to play Keane with Tarky, if either get injured or suspended they could be in even more trouble.

Seemed a strange decision to not sign Coady for what Wolves were asking.
