Cancel culture, Queen's Greatest Hits

Seemingly, Universal have announced that 'Fat Bottomed Girls' will not be featured be among Queen's Greatest Hits when they upload the album on to the new streaming platform Yoto, aimed at younger listeners.
Brian May cannot understand the decision. He wrote the song in honour of 'the ladies with the fuller figure' and it is in no way derogative.
I assume Mika's 'Big Girls, You are Beautiful' will follow suit?

Yoto is aimed at three year olds. Removing the song is not woke cancel culture, it's common sense.
There are no depths of stupidity people won't fall for if you pretend it's cancel culture, imo.

Maybe the song was dropped because it's total garbage?

Queen songs are generally written for children anyway. Never understood the appeal. Thats why there music is used in adverts.

Yoto isn't described as being for toddlers in the article, just for the 'younger listeners'. With that in mind, how many 3 year olds are going to request Seven Seas of Rhye?

The worst part of this is subjecting three year olds to Queen.

To be fair you didn't share the story you made a comment on what had happened without discussing the context. That it's an app for kids, which is why it's not appropriate for that song to be on. Nothing to do with cancel culture. You're not a moron though.

You've also imagined Brian May saying he can't understand it, to be fair.

It does say that at Daily Mail online, not at the link I provided, which I assume is the one I was originally taken to. I did still make an error however, as that Brain May quote is from some time ago.

I’m struggling to find any of the words you attribute to May as quotes from him in the article.

To be fair to the OP, the article doesn’t make the context clear but you’ve got to hand it to the Mail, they really do know what will outrage their audience and how to go about doing it.

Just checked my Queen Greatest hits CD… it’s still there. It’s also still on every streaming service if you look for it apart from the very specific one mentioned in the article and the reasons for that is stated.
Definitely a “fake news” (read lies) day
