Good morning all,

After a successful first meet we are now going to officially put together Berkshire Clarets. This will be open to all Clarets but with most emphasis on Berkshire and the surrounding areas.

As a start we will be looking to put together meet ups for live games. We will look to find venues that cater for adults (evening KO) and families (daytime KO) so we can make this inclusive for all. Should the season be a success for the Berkshire Clarets we may look to have an end of season meet too.

We have set up an email address, so if you are interested please send us an email and state if you want to be contacted by email or WhatsApp (group now set up). We can then send details for each event approx. Two to Three weeks in advance.

Thanks jdrobbo, I will most certainly be in touch in the coming days. It would be nice to get an understanding from someone who has experienced setting up this type of group first hand. Also your experience of socials for these type of events.

When organising our next event I will certainly look towards CT and see what advertising he can do.

Hope WYClarets continues to grow for you all and who knows, may have to get the groups together in the future.

Thank you IanMcL for the nice words. Hopefully we can start to build and grow stronger through the season. It certainly would be nice to see this be the beginning of something long term for the Berkshire Clarets.
