Just looking at our next 8 games, ending with Bournemouth on 28th October.

With almost a new team (which isn't even finalised yet) and the time taken to gel against some tough teams I think the table could look pretty grim by then.
I could see us with 9 points, which seemed poor at first, but would actually be a decent points per game return.

Like most, I can see us getting better results from November onwards and it could be an enjoyable ride - but it might be a little sticky before then!

Last game a must win

I think it will take some time before VK will know
and be able to field his best 11 so I'm not expecting too much from
our first 8/9 games.
Maintaining our belief alongside Improvement in our performances
and getting a few goals will be key for me.

So I'd be surprised and relatively happy if we manage to get more
than 5 o 6 points from our first 9 games with a not too disastrous goal difference.

Not unlike last season when it took 5 or 6 games for us to gel and start
putting a few wins together.
Except that it's likely to be tougher in the Premiership especially
with the number of new players we'll have.

Before season started i thought maybe 7 but I'm not sure now so i will say 4 or 5 and win or a point today would help. UTC

Well, doesn't time fly when you are having fun.

Leaving out the Luton game, which was not included at the time of posting - the results are in!

Not even the most pessimistic amongst us thought we would have the grand total of 1 point from those games.

If I have checked correctly, we have a 3 way win between Brexit, Corporal Jones and Corky who all predicted 3 points.

If anyone fancies another go, the next 10 ending with Aston Villa away could bring us 8 points in my view.

I think we all know that if we continue to play as we have done in the first 10, we'll likely pick up another 3-4 points in the next 10. And that's probably being optimistic as the confidence by then will be lower than ever.

I'll give it a go though based on the HOPE that Kompany will finally learn something and set the team up properly, starting on Saturday with a big reaction to our recent pathetic displays.

Not going to predict but there are 4 or 5 of them games that we could quite easily win, but with the way we are playing at the minute it would not surprise me if we lost all of them. I am confident at some point we will start to get results though and play better just hope it happens before it is too late.

Unless we have a radical shift in how we are performing, then we’ll get no points.
