The man sat down in the 2nd picture, wearing the Orange top, has the wording "Burnley Council working hard for you", on his back. No wonder the Turf to Town project is taking so long.

I mean, tbf to him, they probably had to stop to let all the fire engines etc do their job......

Thanks for letting us know about this. I'm going to drive down there and stand around on the street corner.

Its a rare sight to see actual workmen there. Even if they were not doing anything.
They built the Pyramids in less time the Town To Turf job is taking

The Royal Dyche and surrounding pubs will be busy on Saturday before the match due to taking up the slack. I might get to the stadium early and grab a pie and a pint in there instead.

Can't find any humour in a business getting destroyed, people out of work and all the worry and stress for all those involved.

Jeez not many worse things to set on fire. actually obviously designed and positioned for peak airflow so a fire would take hold like hell. No wonder its evidently caused a lot of damage

Terrible news. Whether you like the pub or not, that group have put a lot of effort into opening/refurbing pubs in the Burnley area if I'm not mistaken. A real shame. Hoping they can bounce back and I'm sure locals and clarets will support them upon reopening.

Massive shame. They've done a really nice job of it in last few years. Hope they bounce back as promised!
