Ex Crystal Palace owner has a regular spot now on Talk Sport … I like his input and opinions but a lot don’t .. he sees the game as an owner which is sometimes a lot different from a fans view

Like him too. Not everyone's cup of tea but really respect his intelligence and knowledge of football club ownership. He never sits on the fence and is extremely articulate. A refreshing change to the host of garbage speakers on the media today who have no opinions of their own.

I like him. His podcast is superb. I don’t agree with everything he says but he is someone I could have an open honest conversation with who wouldn’t take offence at a differing opinion.

I like him. he says things that are controversial which gets them all going. To be fair, I think everyone thought the same as he did about us when we went down. Even most fans were worried.

Are you surprised? In a documentary that wanted to paint a picture that the owners were universally hated and then prove everyone wrong to become the good guys?

Not a fan at all.
Same with the likes of Piers Morgan, they love controversy and being centre of attention.

I really like him and had no issues with his predictions/ concerns. I think we had a 1 in a 100 season last year with the mass of changes that happened both on, and off the pitch.
Nobody in their right mind could predict we would cruise to promotion like we did, and I think if we hadn't done Jordan's financial predictions wouldn't have been far off.

I listen to him a lot and an awful lot of things he has said about our club have proven to become true. There was a reason for the documentary in picking those two comments in helping to set the dramatic scene about our club.Very easy for pundits to waffle on and sit on the fence-something SJ cannot be criticised for doing

I put talksport on while I was in the car today, just to catch up with any deadline day stuff.
Keown was on Jordan & White's show going around the houses avoiding a question on why Arsenal had bought Havertz. I don’t like Jordan but he was pretty funny getting stuck into Keown for avoiding the question.

I don’t mind Jordan. Full of himself but talks a good game and worth listening to, even if I don’t always agree. It’s just a sham that he has to be on with Jim White who I can’t stand.
I’ve heard Peterborough United’s chairman on the show a few times recently. He comes across really well.

They were two pretty big predictions though
The club would go bust, and Vincent would be a failure.. true he didn't sit on the fence, but fell off the wrong side of it.

Talk sport was on in the work van - don’t normally listen to it
He said the bottom 4 of the league are all 3 promoted sides and Everton who haven’t even scored a goal yet meaning the gulf in quality is too far between
While factual in the league table pretty pointless to come to that conclusion after 2 games

I like listening to him and Jim white, plus the others
He was very wrong last summer, but so were a lot of other people in the industry tbh
However I do like to listen to his opinions about the game in general, he provides a good balance to Keown who’s always defending the players over everything, especially financially.
He provides good insights that others can’t, precisely because he’s been an owner etc

Comes across quite bitter the times I have heard him with money obsessed Jim White playing the nodding dog role next to him.
Makes up long words that don't exist but is lucky enough to work with someone too dumb to realise

When you are brave enough to hop off the fence, you’re bound to be wrong sometimes. I guess people would prefer listening to people who are never wrong because they never give a real opinion on anything.

Nothing overtly objectionable about him (unlike Morgan who's completely deplorable on every level), but Jordan 100% sniffs his own farts from a jar he keeps them in.

Massive chip on his shoulder especially about Ian Dowie !!
Was once watching Crime Watch and he was on - he got his £100k watch stolen at gun point whilst in London in his soft top by some guy on a bike who pulled up next to him.
He does have some interesting insight being an owner but I can’t stand him or Jim White either so rarely listen to the show.

He's not a bad sort & often gets more right than wrong & some stuff that could be be construed as the wrong call is still suspended with judgement reserved, just because something hasn't occured doesn't mean it will never occur.

I think his actions at the time enabled the new regime to take over in a smoother manner by conceding & waivering certain rights with the administrators & being cooperative, but I wouldn't be naive enough to think it wouldn't have benefited him in some way adopting that approach.

Seems like a reasonable bloke and he's well respected round these parts, according to my Palace neighbours.
Apart from the guy who robbed him at gunpoint in central Croydon, he didn't respect him at all. We'll that was his own fault for driving through the ghetto

His main business collapsed pretty much and, like other owners, it hindered his ability to fund Palace

Similar to us with Brendan Flood. Flood's real estate development business went tits up and I think it forced loans to be called in or something. Someone better informed than I will probably be able to provide a better explanation.

Modus and yes when it went bang any monies owed to it had to he repaid and that included £5 million (I think) from the club
