It was very odd with everything so early and then nothing!

He could be a very good acquisition. Hope he becomes the new Steven Defour but probably not. Only one Defour.

I've been sat here since 7 this morning - could have done with stuff earlier but it's been a busy day

£15-£19m fee for a wide player/No.10, so basically, another Zeki, which sounds like my cuppa tea.

How do you get the photos for the articles so early? Is someone from the club feeding them to you or are you whipping them off the club website the minute it's announced?

Interesting how the club have labelled Tresor an attacking midfielder - not a winger.

Good signing. Very happy with it.

Shame we couldn’t get a left back when we had months to get one knowing which league we would be in.

Probably held this in reserve so we finish on a high if the others fell through (like they did) sensible approach

To be honest, another player I've never heard of before the transfer speculation started but if VK thinks he's a good un that'll do for me.
Welcome Mike, hope you'll become a Burnley legend..

Was on my early summer wish list. Thought we’d struggle when the likes of RB Leipzig, Napoli, West Ham, Brentford and Lille were all then linked. Very happy he’s here and as he’s not been called up by Belgium, now has 2 weeks to settle in before Forest. Aside from open play he has genuine quality from set pieces too which I think we lack.

Looks a very good player. Fingers crossed he can carry his good form over to the Prem.

Will he be eligible to be in the squad today vs Spurs? Or signed too late?

Welcome Mike! Bit puzzled why he has only arrived on a season loan if Genk are still in the UEFA Conference, have we got an option to buy, nothing on the website to suggest we have? Hope he has a cracking season and decides to stay anyway

Given we announced it at 11 pm I doubt it but I don't think we'd consider him in any case given he won't have trained with us.

Referred to in my article that reports suggest an obligation to buy next summer.

If the player is as good as the nightclub we've got a proper good un.

Excellent ball control, close dribbling and can ride a tackle too - reminded me a bit of a certain George Best (although he did it playing on ploughed fields).

Looking forward to seeing Tresor in a Burnley shirt.

He was a real handful in the friendly game and his stats are off the chart good. If he can transpose that into the PL then it's +4/5 goals for Foster and Amdouni.

Great signing.

Welcome to Burnley Mike!
