Can't see a thread started.

Don't really know how we'll line up to be honest.

However, I'll go for this.

Muric

Roberts
Al-Dakhil
O'Shea
Taylor

Cullen
Berge

JBG
Koleosho

Amdouni
Foster

Very much doubt taylor or JBG as much because both played 90 midweek. Delcroix in for taylor, not sure who is wide instead of JBG, benson brought off at HT last game but might get another chance without zaroury.

Not what I think but what I'd go with:

Muric
Roberts O'Shea Al Dakhil Taylor
Cullen Berge
JBG Brownhill Foster

Quite like this but I expect Trafford for Muric (and in fairness its the right thing to do to preserve Trafford's confidence), and I think I'd go Koleosho over Amdouni and move Foster central to give us that extra explosive pace in the front 3. Amdouni has done OK and would be unlucky but JBG's nous and set piece ability would give him the nod. With the options up top we can expect everyone to take their turn on the bench and its a 16 man game these days.

Just to explain my logic FWIW

JBG will defend and apparently Benson didn't track back too much. We can't afford to give Spurs the space Villa were allowed.

Benson can come on later in the game.

There's a lot of responsibility on some very young shoulders.
I'm no expert, but to continue throwing them in and disposing of a lot of last year's successful group can't be good for morale.
Just my view. A better mix of experience and youth did the job at Forest on Wednesday.

not entirely sure why trafford is in goal with the performance muric put out on wednesday.
Going to be a tough game today, thought we’d keep the confidence going and keep muric in net

I guess the question is do we think JBG is playing in midfield or on the right wing?

I still see it as almost 3 at the back. Roberts plays a roving role as much in MF as FB. He might need to spend a lot more in MF today and yet they have two genuine wide threats in Son and Kulusevski. Son lining up as CF but he does like to come in off the left.

Presume O'Shea plays more left? Regardless of who does we've got a center half at left back.

I hope we are more structured today like the bottom team you showed.

I think that has the pace and ability on the counter to cause spurs some real problems

I am not surprised either Newcastle. He is very limited and ponderous and it shows the way we are set up. Surprised he started v Forest but had a poor game-slow, unimaginative and very much a one trick pony. Be surprised if he does not leave us next week. For his sake his agent needs to find him another club

The surprise for me is Josh not playing. He was excellent v Forest, but may be carrying a knock

Good to see Vincent not wobbling with the keeper like much of our support
Trafford Burnley No1.
Be very surprised if Muric gets a Premier league game this season

Similar to Taylor, I am just not sure Brownhill has the technical ability in the middle of the park that VK wants from
His sides.

I suspect with the signing of Massengo and Ramsey his game time will be really
Limited

I'm surprised Beyer is available, after the talk in midweek about him being out for four or five weeks.

Obviously a load of old pony.

Yes I quite forgot how brilliant VItinho is at left back and of course our new recruit Delcroix who once played 4 games at LB for his former team. Taylor should be our number 1 in the absence of the other well honed LB's that we don't have.

Set ourselves up to fail in the last couple of league games.
The Forest lineup wasn't without question marks either but at least the back 4 was much more balanced.
Hopefully we get Ekdal back soon to give us a little more dominance centrally but as a very minimum we need to play players in positions they're genuinely comfortable especially in a league where much of the squad is sorely lacking experience.

Ekdal was sat in the posh seats with a full on leg brace. Be surprised if he’s in the squad again this season unfortunately
