Is Westley the son of the former Preston manager? He certainly seems to know where the net is just like Mellon at Morecambe. Sounds as though Lewis Richardson is fulfilling promise too. That's 3 young footballers heading in the right direction seemingly. All very good news for the club.

Yes Graham's son, although he doesn't play with medals around his neck.

Richardson has had a torrid time with injuries, just good to see him back on the pitch this season and he's got better with each game I've seen this season.

Westley Sr' has agreed to be a guest on Under the Cosh. The two Chris's are happy with this, Parkin however is not so much!

That will be a good watch.

Just seen the highlights on YouTube, my oh my, watching that number 9 with a shock of blond hair, in a claret shirt scoring a hat trick like that, took me all the way back to the sixties and a certain Ray Pointer running the channels at pace and scoring cracking goals. Let’s hope he progresses to become a similar legend.
On the other hand that red card was scary to watch. Somebody at QPR needs to have a serious word with that boy.

That red card is a shocker.

Loved the second goal where the defender tried to hold Westley back but he was just too strong
QPR defender should be charged with assault fir the red card attack

Nice hattrick - left foot, right foot and a header.

Wasn't Sam Waller supposed to be on loan at Hyde or have I got that wrong?
Again on the goalkeeper front is Franchi still at the club?

From the highlights it looks like Casper was stroking it around the defence quite calmly too which will no doubt have been pushed in first team training.

Waller is on loan at Hyde, but loans at that level allow players to play for both clubs.
Franchi is very much still at Burnley and played in the Lancs Senior Cup final last week.

Thanks Tony. We do seem well stocked with keepers atm

There's a lot to like about all 3 goals- the last two are length of the pitch moves, but the last goal is especially impressive. The weight and timing of Richardson's cross is a thing of beauty.

Good to see him back on the pitch. Clearly a talent and deserves a break. Still got plenty of time on his side.
