When I was at university there was a person listed in my Maths lecture as I.Biggun. He stayed on the list until nearly Christmas, even after (a) he never turned up for another lecture, and (b) the lecturer was informed that his first name was Ivor.

Does Ben Abbott really exist, or is someone on the wind-up?

I know he isnt listed as home grown but given he was on Bristol City books for 4 years would he not quality as in 1999 when he joined Bristol he would have been just 18, or according to your listed DOB which I think is wrong,17 meaning he was with the club 3 years before 21 years of age or 20 years of age. Just asking. I note he signed in early August 2019 aged 18yr and one month. Is the 3 years rule literally a full 3 years as by July 2022 (dob July 7th) he had been with them 2 years and 11 months. If your dob is correct then it is a no brainer he is available as home grown.
