Paul Stewart scored the equaliser for Tottenham against Nottingham Forest in their FA Cup final victory in 1991.

The question…

Name the Clarets who have scored a post-war FA Cup Final goal, be it for Burnley or more likely, another football club?

I’ll crack the list off with…

Paul Stewart (Tottenham v Nottingham Forest)

Ian Wright (Arsenal v Sheffield Wednesday)

Chris Waddle (Sheffield Wednesday v Arsenal)

Alan Taylor (2) for WHU in 1975. Both past Peter Mellor.

As I read the question Tommy's diving header into his own net came straight to mind, totally forgot his goal for City.

Denis Tueart scored the best of them all but in a League Cup final.

If that counts I’m saying Andy Gray 😂

Don’t think Heath scored in an FA Cup final. He’ll have a winners medal from ‘84 but fairly sure it was (non Burnley) Andy Gray that scored the goal.

Paul Gascoigne

Edit - just realised it was the semi-final when he scored that outrageous free kick.

Kevin Reeves Man City 1981
Michael Thomas Liverpool 1992 (got it in my head he came to us on loan at some point , could be wrong)
