Im sure they will all be scrupulously impartial and ensure we are treated in exactly the same way as Manchester United.

Is this his first season at this level? I'm sure he won't be overawed refereeing man United, will he.

In an attempt to improve VAR
The following decisions have been announced up front

VAR1 24mins Rashford Penalty Burnley player intended to trip him and although no actual contact the intent caused Sir Marcus to fall

VAR2 Trafford booked for time wasting when refusing to pass into the incoming Utd press

VAR3 Burnley goal disallowed Koleosho dreadlock offside


VAR3.1 Red Card Koleoshi whose dreadlock whose dreadlock was raised above shoulder height in an aggressive manner almost catching a Manchester Utd player in eye

I think it was meant to be Harrington but was changed to Tierney.

I dont seem to have noticed his name anywhere?

I had to google him.........can't remember anything good or bad about him.

Failed his fitness test but is due back anytime I think ( actually true)

Kind of a problem really, all the fit ones (like Jones) tend to be terrible refs.
