Have they considered hiring a minibus? Should be able to get one for £30/35 per head if they can get 16 on and there are lots of people still looking for transport.

Yes. They're currently looking at all options. They're a great bunch of lads to be fair, all around 20 years old but bloody dopey when it comes to checking for issues before booking things, like train strikes

I’ve a few good companies we used for Sunderland away, Stoke, etc
They don’t like drinking but look after the driver with £30-40 before you set off, he lets it slide to a degree as long as you behave
