Last Man Standing

Three seasons ago we ran a Last Man Standing competition which landed someone a prize of around £210.

How it was played.

Each week you selected a Premier League team. If they won, you went through, if not, you were out. You could only choose a team once.

Cost was £5 per player with half going into the prize pot and half to charity.

I’m considering running one again, potentially starting with the games played in the first week after the next international break and potentially to raise money for a dementia charity.

Just posting this to see if there would be enough interest. Please reply if you would be interested in joining.

Seems there is going to be enough interest to make it worthwhile.

I'll endeavour to get it set up early enough to give us some lead time to the first fixtures after the international break. It will be a bit more difficult to administer now, last time we weren't going to games so I was around to collect the predictions.

I'll ensure the rules are posted on here before we go live to give us the chance to explain them and change them where necessary.

I already run one with entry fee of £10

£5 goes to charity and the other half to the winners pot. A few posters on here are already involved. Always happy to add more players Tony…..

Edit - it might take a bit of pressure off you also with the same outcome - money to charity.
