Also , why do the commentators always feel they have to mention the players former clubs. eg. " Goal from Berge, the former Sheffield United player".

Why do they have to dub in random chants for atmosphere? I only want to watch the game.
Watched EFL on Saturday night and at one point they had No, Nay Never in the background sung, suspiciously, Burnley sounding.

Well I wasn’t on but were our lads really chanting “Come on Burnley” as the players were celebrating Berges goal? Unlikely I would think.

Maybe they use clips of chants to cover any bad language that the microphones have picked up perhaps? Does seem strange

No but that's towards the end of a replay. These are edited highlights so the replay wouldn't immediately follow the goal at the time. Obvs I can't be sure but it would probably be about when they were lining up for the restart.
