Re: Cup draw
They do this every league cup draw, they always say it will be drawn at 10:15 but they waffle on for an extra 15 mins about nonsense. Sky love doing this type pf thing though, they will put the kick off time for an 20:00 game as 18:30 ad that is when their programme starts! I don‘t get it.
Re: Cup draw
They said 10 minutes at 10.05 .... since then waffle waffle waffle

Re: Cup draw
It is a good game for both sides to test themselves in. Just glad we didn‘t get united or Rovers. Why anyone would want to risk playing against rovers in beyond me.

Nobody outside Burnley gives a $hit about the narrative. I don't think even Dyche gives a $hit to be honest.

Re: Cup draw
That was the most amateur draw I've ever seen.

Re: Cup draw
Exeter & Middlesbrough left in the bag for us to draw and they pulled us out to face Everton at home!! Booo!
Re: Cup draw
Well we know Sean doesn’t take the cups seriously, so a good chance to get through.

How many tickets do you get in the League Cup at Everton?
Is it just the normal away end?

My mum could’ve done a better job. Though she was dead chuffed with herself when she remembered Dyche used to be our manager.burnley007 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 27, 2023 10:35 pmThat was the most amateur draw I've ever seen.

Could have been better, could have been worse. No chance it's on TV ahead of Man U v Newcastle and West Ham v Arsenal though.

Re: Cup draw
What occurred to me was that I could see the numbers in the bowl on TV - if they did want to “fix” it that wouldn’t be hard to do for them to have a screen showing the balls to those picking and being told what to pick.Wile E Coyote wrote: ↑Wed Sep 27, 2023 10:36 pminteresting everton game coming up, but what a amateurish presentation of the draw. sky are dreadful.
That said, it would need an element of intelligence to pull that off and those two just didn’t have it…

Re: Cup draw
We seem to get drawn away a lot. It's winnable though.
When was the last time Man Utd were drawn away in any cup competition?

Re: Cup draw
Tie takes place between West Ham and Brighton for Everton. Not sure that changes much tbh.
Re: Cup draw
Fine. Just spend the days in preparation stopping Tarks at set pieces heading the first ball. Calvin Lewin can be contained by Cullen and co.
