• South West Clarets

Following a lot of positive conversions with old SWC members (we had upward of 200 in it’s prime) and newer clarets, I’ve set up
a Watsapp group to:
Facilitate meet-up at games,
To allow people to look into sharing lifts with other Clarets in their area.
To meet up casually with other Clarets in the area.

The original SWC area covered Worcester/Gloucester to Lands End so I’m not invisaging a general broadbrush meet-up at this stage or organised coach travel but we’ll see what take-up brings.
Anyone wishing to join please either leave your name on here or if too public, email me at phil.hardaker@outlook.com.
A short piece of info about where based etc would also be useful. Any swc members who have moved out of the south west also welcome (eg Trev, Nick.

I’m interested. Live in Penzance. Been a fan for 55 years even though I’m Cornish. Generally get up to the Turf once or twice a year.

Thanks JD, would be part of your group if I still lived up north, Skipton-born. Local get-together already starting informally, as are match meet-ups at Luton and Brentford.

It definitely is. The watsapp group is approx 40 strong, chats regularly online, meets up at games and other places informally as decoded. Also I believe the occasional lift-sharing has started.
