Sad news. He was a fine actor.
For those who haven't seen it, check out his performance in 'The cook, the thief, his wife and her lover'. He's like the devil!

RIP Michael Gambon, what a versatile career from the Classics to Dennis Potter onto Harry Potter (Dumbledore) and even has a corner named after him on the "Top Gear" track where he nearly turned the car on its roof.

A cracking actor , loved him in Layer Cake , you can imagine him being great company. RIP
