doesn't seem to be doing anything at Hull at all, plenty of "very disappointing" comments about him on the Hull forums. I only checked as I noticed he was on the bench and not starting games. A few "too lightweight" mentions too. If he's not getting in the Hull side at 24 years old it's not a good sign for him.

He was too lightweight for us. Wont stand a chance in prem
And probably wont see him in a premier league burnley side either
If we stay up he will be off

They've been playing him all over the park. He looks a natural 10 imo, and played there he will succeed. Move him outside or deeper and he is wasted.

Far too lightweight for the PL as it stands. The last thing we need is more lightweight players.

I think he’ll either be sold or loaned again in the summer IF we stay up or may be sold/squad player if we drop.

Was the right type of signing and did contribute a bit to our title winning season but I feel isn’t at the level that we need from a regular contributor.

I would have thought he’d be a key player for Hull from the off - he still might be in a few more games hopefully.

Speaking of Hull - I really like that Aaron Connolly that they signed off Brighton. Thought he looked good for Brighton in the Prem in glances and is only 23.

Strange signing for Hull as him and Tufan play the same position. They tried shifting him to the left wing but ultimately he doesn’t have pace or physicality for that role.

Going to be a long season for twine I think.

Hopefully the lad will get a chance to score with a free kick which will help him settle.

Played on the left more than anywhere else in his last 50 games so he must do well at it there

I was wondering how he was doing........disappointing news.

He played off the left a lot of MK Dons, almost exclusively until they went 3 at the back then played more centrally.

But yeah - exactly as you say, they have Tufan pulling strings centrally.. I genuinely thought Twine would have made a bigger impact at Hull in all honesty - won’t write him entirely off yet but it’s a bit of an indictment right now.

Was talking to a colleague about him last week. Been very disappointing by all accounts and missed a handful of FKs to date.

I thought he’d started most of their games.
Not checked the last 2 or 3 but when I was looking at the earlier reports of the games he seemed to play most of the game. Hull have had a great start to the season too. If he has been as poor as some of their fans are saying not sure why he would have played as many minutes as he has.
Hope he does well. Seems a likeable lad and we need to recoup our £4m if he’s not good enough for us.

Yes but Tbf the majority of them came in league 1.

He’s struggled there in the champ.

Believe he started the first 5 but was dropped for the last 2.

Its disappointing because no disrespect to Hull but he did not "overface" himself by joining them - it was a club where he genuinely should have a chance of starting every game - is the lads level going to be bottom championship / top league 1 ? except for his bank balance he might as well have stopped where he was and played a awful lot more football last 16 months.

I thought he looked really decent in his pre-season games for us that we saw and he started most of them I think? It surprised me he was let out on loan, but our business showed he was going to struggle to get games (I mean, Zaroury and Benson are). I thought he would be a real star for Hull and you'd have to say he needs to seriously impress there to get a chance back at Burnley really. If we are relegated he could become useful again possibly. Seems a lovely lad and I really hope it happens for him.

I thought the same about pre season and he looked the part in the last few games of last season.

I know that Hull fans were excited to see him play but when I spoke to someone a couple of weeks ago, they thought he would be dropped, and he was for the following game.

Based on a few appearances where he’d been out injured for most of the season and is at a new team now

Good to know

Reading Hull fans comments they range from him bringing nothing to playing well and just needing a goal.
https://www.not606.com/threads/wba-v-hu ... 66/page-10

The above is fan-hypocrisy at it's best. Complaining about his performance and then he immediately assists a goal.

He's been playing recently on the wing mainly which I don't think is his best position. They have Tufan keeping him out of the central role.

Someone said in another thread he wasn't making their team. That's not true at all, I checked the last few games and he's started in all of them.

Looked good in pre-season and ended the season with a great performance against Cardiff - surprising he has done nothing at Hull.

Not a total lost cause for us I don't think assuming we're back in that league, he can contribute to the squad.

I have not checked their games for a while but in the first few games he seemed to be have a big impact. He was starting games, having a number of chances / shots and playing most of the game even when they were making 5 subs. Their results were really good too at the start and even now 1 point outside the play offs they are having a much better season than fans must have been expecting.

Done nothing seems strong. He's starting most games in a Hull team that a lot think are over-performing this season.

I remember being very excited when we signed him. All a bit underwhelming, but good luck to him.
