Loseton versus Mighty Clarets

Post by IanMcL » Tue Oct 03, 2023 6:10 pm

Time for change all round. Unable to post Madge, as she is no longer welcome, however, she has sent a message "Allez les Clarets".

In that same vain, tonight our young heroes will remember their exploits of last season and destroy Loseton tonight. Early ko at 7.30pm. Let's get up for it quick.

Come on you Clarets
Come on Burnley Come on Burnley Come on Burnley

It's got a weird feeling tonight. It's like the start of something massive or the beginning of the end.

Nah it's start of something incredible, I'm going with that!

Come on Burnley!

Luton

They are unbeaten in 15 midweek home league matches since losing 2-0 to Cardiff in February 2021 (W8, D7).

Burnley

However, Burnley are unbeaten in 16 midweek league games since a 2-0 defeat by Leicester in March 2022 (W8, D8).

Anyone for a draw :)

Zaroury missing is an odd one. Injury you'd imagine. Who else isn't there? Redmond, O Shea? Hard to keep track

Redmond ate one of your sticky toffee puds, so he's out injured.

If that was the case there would three Redmonds and Anass on the bench!

A senior squad of 30 means 10 will always be missing with some of them injured

Let’s hope that we don’t give too many set piece opportunities away and look a little more solid at defending those that we do face.

A game we should win, if we have ambitions above a nail biting relegation battle. Not a must win, nonetheless, three points would be a real boost.

Come on Burnley, let’s see the team that we know we are, not this shadow of last season.
