Best bet I can find is 14/1 but that was before yesterdays game.
Keen to have a small wager as if we continue this disastrous run I cannot see him lasting, regardless of all the hype.

20/1 available on VK at Paddy Power.
A bigger price than Dyche or Pochettino.

Pathetic. Go away and don't 'support' another team.

Some crucial games coming up which will undoubtedly shorten or lengthen the odds, so far 4 points gained from 2 in our mini league isn't bad & on another day with another ref you could say 6. Willy washy excuses will only run so far & severely test paces patience if things don't improve make no bones on that score.

Sky Bet are now offering 12/1 but I think that will shorten later in the week. Well worth a punt as I think after spending over £100M with virtually no improvement on last seasons team heads will eventually roll.

We have a great manager on a long contract with a chairman who backs him totally as do real supporters. We will have hiccups along the way with our start possible the hardest but we've taken 4 points from teams in our mini league
We are on a cup run next up against Sean who has no interest in cup success as he showed with us
We will improve and when our injured players return with Muric back in goal VK will prevail
Talk of sacking a manager that has brought us exciting players and a bright future is pathetic

Why do people created threads like this, just put your bet on. Funny how when the poster is offered the bet they lack the balls to actually do it.

The only benefit of this run of games to start the season is how it separates the real supporters (some being accused of being "happy clappers" and those constructive in their criticism) from the fair weather, plastics, tourists and those lacking in any football knowledge to make them easily identifiable.

Ridiculous to even talk about dismissing him down the line. Even if we go down we need to stick with him. Lose him and the attraction element that VK pulls is lost and that would be very difficult to get back. The Board would need to dig in and so do a lot of our so called supporters.

The odds being quoted are for next PL manager to leave his post and not for the manager to be gone by Christmas. Plenty of other managers will be gone before VK. Why take 12/1 with Sky Bet when William Hill are offering 18/1 and Paddy Power 20/1?

Last year we lost 0-6 to Man City and 0-2 to Man Utd. Which by my count is a 50% improvement!

The outcome of this season whatever happens will not influence a desire to see Vinny go from me, just as it didn't with Dyche. I hope our board of directors see a long term strategy with him - if that means we are relegated, so be it. I would think it an almost certainty we would bounce back at the first attempt with him still in charge, so I am relaxed about the prospect.
By all means be disappointed with the start/performances (I am) but you need to see the long game here, and that may well include relegation. Remember, we're a year ahead of the 'plan' as per the documentary as they didn't seem to believe promotion was a requirement/guarantee last season.

Dear Me, I very very rarely comment but you have me hook line and sinker!
Predominantly played top six sides , and in the sides at a lower level we have given a good account of ourselves.
We have a shed load of new players and they will take time to gell. Its like you werent here last year!
Why on earth would the board get rid of a guy of VK's standing , let alone someone hitting 101 points last year
Half of this squad wouldn't be anywhere near our club if it wasnt for him.
Chill out and enjoy the ride. UTC

Further down the thread the OP states that the best odds he can find is 12/1 with Sky Bet. The odds quoted are for the next PL manager to leave his post not to be gone by Christmas. As I subsequently posted better odds can be found with William Hill and Paddy Power.

I dont think he'll be next but i dont think Alan is too fussed about sentiment, hardcore business man attitude. I cant see any links about his sacking before christmas how would you go about that, ring the bookies?

I suppose this sort of thing is interesting for some, but it was a lot better when Watford were in the Premier league. It was like it's a knockout when somebody played their joker.

I know this is a football message board and people are entitled to their opinion but I personally am very disappointed to see posts like this.
After all the serious concerns of the last couple of years regarding the club ownership etc we eventually got a big name manager who is keen to commit his immediate future to the club, the owners and the so called project. We have rebuilt the squad and fine tuned player salaries to fit a new model. In his first season he took us to Championship success playing attractive football. Now after less than 10 (injury and suspension riddled games) against some of the best (and richest) teams in the world we are having discussions about our manager leaving.
Provided that the manager and the owners are singing off the same hymn sheet I he has a long period in credit as far as I’m concerned.

Any idea on latest odds after today? I managed to get on at 16 to one but after the shambles today I recon it will be down to 7-1 or lower.
Bob Lord would turn over in his grave if he knew we had spent over £100 on players who are no good.

As I have posted on here several times the only odds offered by bookmakers are on the “Next PL Manager to Leave”. The current Sheffield United and Manchester United managers are favourites ahead of Kompany.

It’s a shame it is so rigid as it is an interesting bet to place, maybe their not confident of making money on it!
