Re: next 3 Premier league matches
somewhere between 4 and 7 please.
Re: next 3 Premier league matches
Worried about Beyer possibly missing them. Confident we can win 2. Palace without Eze, Olise and a couple of others seems possible. Interestingly a win v Brentford would see us level points with them.

Bournemouth is a six pointer - they’re the ones we need to finish above bar Sheff/Luton. I’ll stick my neck out and say six.

Re: next 3 Premier league matches
3 but hoping for 5
Ive yet to see anything defensively that makes me think the 'goal against' will dry up anytime soon. so we will need to be scoring more than 1 goal to be winning games.

Dont think we beat both Palace and Brentford but I think 8pts is definitely doable

what have the media got to do with anything ?bigdavethemaddog wrote: ↑Mon Oct 09, 2023 4:33 pmanything less than 4 then the questions will start been asked of VK who seems to get an easy ride from the media
Re: next 3 Premier league matches
Really depends who plays. If we persist with Trafford in goal and expect the likes of Jay Rod and Aaron Ramsey to have an impact at this level then not many.

the media usually hype up ex big name players in management and soon criticise them as soon as results turn. VK seems to have dodged this so far

Re: next 3 Premier league matches
Maybe that’s because they can see what he’s trying to do, and they possibly reckon we aren’t a million miles away despite the actual results…bigdavethemaddog wrote: ↑Tue Oct 10, 2023 6:58 amthe media usually hype up ex big name players in management and soon criticise them as soon as results turn. I’d absolutely love 7/9, but I’ll take 4 right now and hopefully see us steadying the ship. I don’t think we are a million miles away, despite the results.

Re: next 3 Premier league matches
Brentford and Bournemouth are 19th and 18th in the premier league form table.
I think it’s arguably our best chance this season to pick up 6 points from two back to back games.
Il go for 6. With a loss against palace (think there defence is going to be too strong).

said as much on MOTD- Danny Murphy felt there would be three teams worse than us-we will seebobinho wrote: ↑Tue Oct 10, 2023 7:15 amMaybe that’s because they can see what he’s trying to do, and they possibly reckon we aren’t a million miles away despite the actual results…

that's just noise though. What Jermaine Jenas, Darren Bent, Paul Merson and Tim Sherwood say is irrelevantbigdavethemaddog wrote: ↑Tue Oct 10, 2023 6:58 amthe media usually hype up ex big name players in management and soon criticise them as soon as results turn. VK seems to have dodged this so far

Brentford got quite a few injuries at the min and Hickey is suspended.

Re: next 3 Premier league matches
Brentford really should be a game we target for a win
Their squad is obliterated with injuries. Their injury eleven is arguably better than their starting eleven.
Injured eleven
Flekken
Hickey, Ajer, Mee, Henry
BaptistE, Dasilva
Shade, Damsgaard, Lewis Potter
Toney
(I know Toney is suspended)

Re: next 3 Premier league matches
If we potentially play Brentford without Al Dakhil, Beyer or Ekdal I can't see us getting much there.
