Re: Fulham v Man United - Ticket Prices
It's frightening - I worry about ours going up and pricing people out but those prices are outrageous

Sadly as we see in this country constantly it will be defended with the lazy supply and demand comment.
Like when any company puts prices up knowing it can make something extra out of people due to an event or timing of the event.

It’s the most expensive part of the UK, unfortunately they’re exploiting those they know will pay it.

People defend it, I totally understand the model but I still hate it and wish more would stand up to it and refuse to buy

That’s what you get when the biggest club in the world come to town.
They will be snapped up by United fans & tourists.

Re: Fulham v Man United - Ticket Prices
The trouble with this is, it isn’t just football.
Prices of ordinary household things are going up massively, I ordered a new batch of some wood-stain yesterday and it had gone up 42% compared to 2 years ago. My home insurance has gone up 40%, new quote through today. We know about energy. Mortage rates. Taxes keep going up not down. Hard to see this changing in the coming years. This feeds into ordinary fans not being able to afford football tickets even at the same prices, let alone vastly increased ones.
The cap on away ticket prices is tremendous really.

Its brilliant - and we saw evidence of how good it is when we dropped out of it last season. It's even worse this season in the Championship.CrosspoolClarets wrote: ↑Thu Oct 12, 2023 12:01 pm

Re: Fulham v Man United - Ticket Prices
Wow £167 for one game , now the FAI sent out a mail a few days ago and it's €165 to renew my season ticket for six games at international level .
Re: Fulham v Man United - Ticket Prices
These huge increases are another example of why the entire management of league football needs an overhaul with fans as equal partners in the decision making.

Wow, thats horrendous.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Thu Oct 12, 2023 1:25 pmYes - and they also have the most expensive season tickets in the Premier League.
Trouble is with that type of pricing, it keeps the fans of the club away and attracts the tourist fan which in turn detracts from the atmosphere.

Re: Fulham v Man United - Ticket Prices
Plenty of wealthy tourists in London who will pay it unfortunately, whilst genuine Fulham fans get screwed.
Re: Fulham v Man United - Ticket Prices
Loads of glory hunting southern United fans will pay the money.
They will be coming out with comments like the below as Pickles hilariously pointed out :
"Rah, like Rarshy has these wastemen on lock".

Re: Fulham v Man United - Ticket Prices
The season tickets show that both Spurs & Arsenal have plenty willing to pay the astronomical prices:
