I'm sure many of you are like me and have the message board part of the site set as your shortcut and spend most of your time on here. I just spent the last hour looking at 'the other sections' ! The Programmes, the photographs, the stats etc, it's incredible. This is undoubtedly one of the best fan created websites out there for any club. A big congrats and thanks to those that have put it together and run it, it's brilliant !

Very much agree, I spend more time on the other sections of the site whilst pretending to do work than I do on the messageboard - especially around matchdays!

I can only agree with Vegas and Hitchin.
The message board is the most visited part of the site for me, but Imoften get “lost” in meandering through the host of excellent features.
We Clarets are fortunate to have such a good, lovely site.
Thanks to CT and the other excellent contractors.
UTC.

Yeah it is to be treasured - ClaretTony gets some stick at times and some of it is just banter but fair play to him for the many hours he (and others) have put into the upkeep/maintenance and additions of the site. To be commended.

It really must be the best fan resource out there. I joined the old message board when I was 18 so I've just realised I've been a poster for over half of my life

Now you have finished blowing smoke up Tony’s @rse, I have to agree it is a cracking board. I got banned for a whole year once but think I may have deserved it.
Well done and thanks to all who put their time and effort in to this essential platform for Clarets all over the country and the world.

As we've said before it's like an interactive pub, we all have various opinions but most try to keep it respectful and relevant.

At last a positive thread
This site helps folk (ones who have a problem and seek advice) I know have sought the help of Clarets on here more than once

... OK sometimes the advice is tongue in cheek

... I have done that myself more than once too

for a bit of devilment.
It entertains folk with photo's/pictures of places visited etc etc ...
I have nothing but admiration for the Mods who at times have a thankless job policing it ... yes they may remove posts that might be innocent, but hey ho its 99 times out of a 100 the correct thing to do.
Cheers to the admin crew for keeping it going for us mere mortals

Has anyone ever seen Vegas Claret and Claret Tony together?
Only joking. It is indeed a marvel, the 'fixtures and results' section is an unbelievable resource, and referred to by me regularly.

This thread has just prompted me to go and have a look at the programmes section, which I didn't know existed until I read it.
As a kid I used to love collecting the programmes and it's just brought back some real nostalgia.
What an amazing resource.

I am indebted to spijed’s dad some years ago for doing all the scans for me up to around ten years ago. It’s one of my favourite sections and I’ve been scanning some of this season’s this afternoon.
