The draw probably could not have worked out any better for Cray Valley, Charlton Athletic is 15 minutes away.

Where’s Telford Utd these days? Are they still going? My worst ever away day. Seem to remember they were regarded as giant killers around that time.

They folded about 20 years ago.
AFC Telford were born just after.

Good chance for Accy to progress.
Clarets v Accy at The Turf 3rd round.
When was the last time Accy at Turf Moor... competition wise?

Possibly when they played Scunthorpe in the FA Cup several years ago??
Can't think of anything more recent but my memory isn't as good as it used to be.

We've only ever played Accy Stanley once competitively and that was at Accy.

We played them many times in the old Lancashire Senior Cup. The last time was in the 58/9 season when we beat them 4-1 on the Turf.

Looking at that draw I don't know a lot of teams who are non league or in the league. Also would I be right in saying the cup game between Accy and Scunthorpe is 30 years ago?

Different club .. That Accrington Stanley went under in 1966 , the current club played their first game four years later at a different ground .. and neither have anything to do with Accrington F.C.

Why weren't Rovers in the draw?
I thought all lower division clubs were in the First round draw?

I'm aware of all that. Perhaps it would have been more accurate to say we have only played competitively once against Accrington Stanley (1968).

I’m the same. There are quite a few teams in that list I’m 50:50 at best whether they are league or non.

No need at all as the post and reply was about this season's cup draw as opposed to a cup draw from 65/6 or before when the side we played in 58/9 that you referred to remained extant.

We`ve never played Accy at Turf in a competitive game, like ClaretTony says, our only competitive fixture was at Accy in LeAgue Cup when we got beat 1 nil
