The first song I ever heard by Cohen I was a young punk in my first job when an older workmate lent me a clutch of 60s. and early 70s albums Songs of Love and Hate being one of them.I would say the bar was certainly set high

Suzanne is my favourite Cohen track, closely followed by First We Take Manhattan. A poet/lyricist of the first order.
