Matchday experience at Brentford

Not the performance or result that we wanted, but this was my 85th ground, of the current 92 teams, that I've been to, so some consolation! I'll get them all done one day. Didn't imagine it would take decades when I started.
A miserable day capped off with pouring rain at the end on the walk back to Gunnersbury underground. Over a mile from the ground, everyone arriving at the station was wet through only to be met with closed gates. The sign said they were shut for safety reasons for an hour. Strange that when the station is needed it isn't available! They opened up again at 17:30.
Anyway, I've made a short video of the build up and match experience. No apologies for not including any of the goals.

I had heard that Gunnersbury station would be closed after the game but there was no real confirmation of it at the end of the match in the stadium. Anyway, I didn’t risk it but instead walked back to Acton? station. It was further and obviously I got soaked, but at least it was open and not busy. I dried out by about Crewe on the train home from Euston. A miserable end after a miserable performance on the pitch.

Gunnersbury station is always closed for 1 hour after Brentford games according to Brentford's website.

We used Kew Bridge station to get back to Euston after the game which is right at the side of the stadium, changed at Waterloo for Euston.
