My Everton digital ticket….a question

Just looks like a photo of a ticket with no QR code or anything that looks scannable at a turnstile.
Is this right ? Don’t want to be denied entry !

In your digital wallet? It works like a bank card I believe (and hope)

It should look like a long qr code. It says show code underneath the bit that looks like a ticket.

Nope ….I got an email from the club with a link in it. When I click on the link I get an image of a ticket but with no barcode or anything and nothing underneath or any ability to scroll down !!!

Don’t you need to copy it into your phone wallet? I suspect once you’ve done that it will be scannable.

The word Add appears at the top of the screen above the ticket but when I click on that the ticket disappears but there is nothing added to my iPhone wallet

You will need to contact someone then - without the ticket in your wallet you won’t be able to get in.

I could see a barcode on mine and then not on others. I suspect once you see the ticket in your wallet, it will then scan like a bank card.

That would be ok if there was any way of moving it into my wallet. When I click on Add it just disappears. Ticket office as baffled as my brother and I are so going to have to go down there now so they can help me. So much for the age of technology.

Initially when I added it, it only shows a white band with the blue steeple on the wallet.

Thanks..mine looks the same but without the "Hold Near Reader" text and icon underneath the image of the ticket. And in the top corners of the screen I have the words "Cancel" (top left) and "Add" (top right), both of which, if pressed, make the screen disappear.

Ok that does sound like an issue, the hold near reader icon flashes on the ticket rather than the screen shot. Hope you get sorted.

Does it not disappear from that screen but go into your Apple wallet? Click Add then open the Apple Wallet, is it not there?

No…. Clicking Add does nothing except make the screen disappear. The ticket does not appear in my Apple wallet. I’m on my way to the ticket office now.

A bit of messing around at the ticket office and I’ve now managed to get another email that has added to my wallet. They were v helpful. Phew. My brother’s also sorted.

As much as I would have preferred to be in the upper tier tonight, I'm beginning to be thankful that I've got paper tickets.

On the image of the ticketon screen there are three dots top right hand corner, click on these and press 'pass details', that takes you to a bar code - dots shown on the image by Mrtoptier

I work for a large organisation where digital fraud and theft is a massive issue - hold onto those old tech tickets as long as you can!
