Fair enough. Brentford was poor but in my view Bournemouth was dreadful.
In my opinion it was worse.
At least there was a chance we might have got something from Bournemouth and we at least got 3 shots on goal.
Everton was just a surrender. Seen more intense pre season friendlys

I'm not judging a performance on whether we might have got something that we didn't get or deserve - I'm judging it based on how we played. And our performance was awful throughout against a poor side in Bournemouth. Wednesday was a difficult watch, but at least we looked okay for part of the game mainly because of Berge and to a slightly lesser extent Muric.

No way Everton was as bad as Bournemouth, but I’ll try and forget both tbh

Fair enough, I thought Bournemouth was bad but I thought we at least showed some intensity. I came away from the Everton totally dejected.
Let’s hope regardless there’s a dramatic improvement today

I think VK will line u something like this : wingers are anyone’s guess but around this -
Trafford
Vitinho Al Dakhil Beyer Taylor
Brownhill Berge
Tresor Amdouni Koleosho
Jay
Can’t see him selecting cork
But I’d go with -
Muric
Roberts/Al-Dakhil O’Shea Beyer Taylor
Cork Brownhill
Berge
Amdouni Jay Koleosho

Vitinho has been very poor at right back - what would be the justification for starting him today?
More pace

He's left us totally wide open down that side. First and foremost we need to be less fragile defensively because we look so vulnerable almost every time the opposition attacks. I'm certain Roberts will be back in today and rightly so or, if not, I'd be stunned unless an injury or illness prevents it.

Start Vitinho and you start either one or two goals down. He simply cannot defend. I now keep an eye on him when the other team score or nearly score to study his marking and defending-its non existent. Cant challenge and out of position as a full back. Roberts has been poor recently but has the discipline of a full back, and the coaches have a better chance of getting the best from Roberts rather than Vitinho

If VK starts without Cork today, then I am not sure if it reflects stubborness by the manager or he simply does not rate him. If the latter then Cork has to go out on loan in Jan (if he wants to continue his career) and at least it creates a squad place

What is Vitinho? I’ve seen him described as a bit of a utility man who can play a variety of roles - unfortunately he plays them all badly.
