No AAD. Beyer Back. Roberts on bench and Vitinho starts. No Cullen either.

Anyone else look at the bench and think why are most of them not in the starting lineup

No Cork in the squad? Seems a strange omission especially with Cullen suspended.

I'll be surprised if we get anything with this lineup.

Assuming JBG on wing and Amdouni in behind Jay?

Good to see Beyer back in, but I honestly give up with the inclusion of Vitinho, Rodriguez, Amdouni and to a lesser extent Trafford.

I hope I’m eating humble pie come 5pm.

If Corks not injured I can't imagine he's happy at all.

Second manager to give Cork a raw deal what is going on.

I know he likes to have wingers to bring on, but 4 and Redmond on the bench is ridiculous. Like Southgate and right backs.

No back up for central midfield unless Massengo fits in there. And just what is wrong with Foster?

I'd hoped for cork along side Brownhill and Berge just infront .

Vitinho. Deary me. Hopefully he changes my mind that he’s miles off this level.

I hate to say it but with that line up I'm expecting Tin Can Alley again unfortunately. I hope I'm wrong and we don't concede our customary 2 goals again

Hopefully Jack is ill as it has become mind boggling again. Maybe he likes to tell managers where they are going wrong?

Was hoping Foster would be available.

The problem is Rodriguez is nowhere near the level required anymore and Amdouni has been crap when played up top.

What a balls up.

Great to see Beyer.

Time for many to show what they're made of.

Posted earlier today that if Jack was left out, and if he wants to extend his career , he needs to get a loan in January (doubt whether wee could get a sale). Will release a squad position in Jan too. Feel sorry for Jack

I also cant see how JBG gets in the team-just too slow for the PL and we have pace and better quality on the bench. Would have much preferred Cork as Cullens replacement today.

Unfortunately I'm lead to believe the injury is not physical but more of a mental one

I’m not a fan of Roberts at all but he should be playing ahead of Vitinho.

Cork wasn’t good enough two years ago, his legs had gone then, but frighteningly, he’s still probably our best-equipped Premier League midfielder.

No Muric is a shame but apart from that I don't hate it. A midfield three of Brownhill/Berge/JBG could work with Brownhill as a ball-winner and the other two getting further forward. And having Rodriguez to play off might help get the best out of Amdouni. Cautiously optimistic.

Hope I'm wrong but gut reaction is "what the **** is that team".
I like Vitinho but for every good moment going forwards he has a defensive error.
Kompany will tinker everything but won't swap the keeper no matter what, this is the hill he's dying on clearly.
Brun Larsen can't seem to do anything to get a start, not Redmond.
Can't work out the formation we're playing from the lineup -4231 with Amdouni in the hole and Gudmundsson wide, 433 with Amdouni wide, 442/4411 with Jay/Amdouni pair. I'd honestly experiment with Brun Larsen up front over Jay I think he's played there in his career

Can't see us getting anything but a hiding, hope I'm wrong.

He nearly rescued our season when Jackson put him back in. Before that we couldn’t win a game for toffee.

Definitely capable of a half at least I would have thought.

Been a great servant to the club but I would rather see Tresor or Larsen starting right than JBG - and that sums it up for me

I suspect he'll be playing cm. And I'd start him over Tresor honestly out wide, unbelievably disappointed with him so far can't see what he offers in any area of the pitch

I am starting to think VK's selection will come under as much scrutiny as the teams performances. Maybe just me but I sense if you cross VK you dont get in the team ie Muric, Roberts, Cork. Just a thought

Beyer and O’Shea prob our best cb pairing without Ekdal. Foster has issues that the club are trying to help him overcome
Cullen is suspended so assume Cork is unfit. Muric must be injured lol Vitinho picked ahead of Roberts. Berge hopefully playing in central midfield.
Only good news I can find us Beyer back ( hopefully fully fit) and Ekdal Obefemi and Benson played an hour fir U21 this morning and Churliniv scored late winner. Oh and Fulham look like they will lose
