Maybe. But why take your best two players off? Amdouni was showing a return to form as was Koleosho.

And Redmond shouldn’t be anywhere near this team.

I’m more concerned with Jay Rod he looks finished at this level. No energy and no movement , looking slower than Sam Vokes and I didn’t think that was actually possible 🙈

I thought we played some very good football, but it's the same problem, we have to score 3 goals to win a match. Also, I thought that Crystal Palace looked a poor side.

I thought the same. JBG and Jayrod were struggling, but Amdouni and Koleoshe were affecting the game.

What’s Redmond done wrong?

Nothing. This place is dazzled by a few flashy runs. No. End. Product.

Amdouni was looking really dangerous in the 2nd half ,and VK takes him off and leaves J Rod on who was really poor.

Although best I've seen from Amdouni today - worked hard off the ball.

Odd game because noone really played that badly but we have absolutely no game plan against a side that sits in.

Just seen the tackle on Trafford, red card all day long.

Seems like whenever VAR have a look at decision involving us then the rules of football get ignored. That challenge was studs up and both feet off the ground. Text book red card.

Redmond was terrible today after coming on I'm afraid. Set them on the attack when well positioned (onnthe edge of their box, centrally), on his heels for the through ball from Berge and then passed the ball straight out of play under no pressure at one point. Baffling a player with his experience at this level could be so poor.

A much better performance today. Brownhill and Berge, even on one leg, gave us a solid platform. We dominated but lacked quality in the final third. I enjoyed the game and feel more confident about the rest of the season despite the result.

Better in first half but every game this season when going behind we play like we are winning 1-0

I thought we were far better today and created one or two good chances. Berg was outstanding.

definate improvement, thought koleosho was THE player of the match, amazing at times. If only the rest could match his flair and drive.
There was an obvious determination in the team this aft, we lack quality though, to many misplaced passes and lack of creativity, far too slow to react around their goal.Still think Vincent will get the squad through these next few games with the experience we are gaining. We will get through this lean spell.

We were better today.

We were more progessive, seemed to have a plan of attack, had a diagonal ball.

Better than than Bournemouth or Everton.

I know its Crystal Palace but berge/brownhill look a better pairing.

We dominated the game and the bigger picture is Ekdal, Benson nd Obamefi played today.

Wont need anywhere like 34 points to stop up,

Playing against Burnley is easy for opposition at the moment. Just keep it tight, be patient and eventually we’ll make a mistake and give you a chance. That’s exactly what a Palace did.

He was finished at this level 2 years ago, beyond me why he is still getting a game. Didn’t exactly set the league on fire last season.

Fine margins today. One stupid error when on top allowed them to sit in shape and not contribute/time waste. The shape was better and more cohesive, especially first half. We also didn't capitulate after the goal. The second is late on when chasing the game so needing to take more risks. Berge and Browny looked better than Cullen. Vitinho played well. Amdouni was involved more. We missed some good chances. JGB was an absolute sitter. Koleosho was more dangerous and he is starting to add threat to his dribbling.

Big error was from the bench. We needed subs around 60mins. We got sucked into a stodgy tempo for about twenty minutes. JGB would have been my pick. He lacked zip in the last thirty.

If we'd not been on such a bad run then people may view the performance a bit more positively. It is a bit like United. We left points on the pitch today though overplaying/rustiness.

It’s sad to see how fast he has regressed. He has been an excellent striker in the prem , think a bastards fan must have welded lead in his boots yesterday.

That’s handy.

Will around 25 be enough?

We need to get Obefomi into the squad soon as a potential striker as I fear the news of Foster is not going to be good. We also need to decide which of Tresor, Larson and Redmond is going to be given a run of starts. JBG and Jay are just not up to the latest demands of the PL and should not even make the squads. Imagine how demotivating it is when these two veterans are starting instead of you. They have served us well. File under Matt Lowton and Kevin Long

Gudmundsson was excellent on Saturday. Classy player.
