Bodycams On Players...

...hit the Premier League tomorrow in the Wolves/Spurs game.
A player from each side will wear a bodycam on a kind of vest under the shirt with a small hole to film through.
However, it will only be for the warm-up then removed for the actual game, because they're not allowed in games.
TNT and the PL have struck a deal about the warm-up.
Apparently, the AI powered cams employ a kind of "stabilisation " tech, so the picture doesn't jump around when the player runs.
Newcastle have already tried it in training.
The PL appear keen with their head of media saying "Finding new ways to bring the fans closer to the action is a key focus for us."
Something to embrace, or the end of civilisation as we know it?

To be fair VAR is more akin to a Black Mirror concoction.

Probably wouldn't be long before they started sticking adverts on it.

Will it make me think I have warmed up, whilst sitting watching?
Sounds a good ploy for Slimming World.

Let's hope that they turn the cam off before the incessant gobbing and grollying.

"Finding new ways to bring the fans closer to the action is a key focus for us."
You can get closer to the action by just going to the feckin game.
Modern football now just panders to TV audiences and couldn't care less about fans who actually go to games.
