Corfu advice

Always found UTC good for holiday advice, thinking of Corfu for early May. Flights from Liverpool look well priced, never been to the island, which resorts / towns are good for a quiet relaxing break. A few decent tavernas etc, not much nightlife.

I went Sidari with my mrs when we were early 20s, so circa 12 years ago, love the place!
We went back and stopped in Kavos, a little more lively but it’s such a great island.

Ipsos was nice when we went with a few families in 94.
I would think it would be quiet whichever resort you went to in May.
Get yourself a hire car and get around the Island.

Kassiopi for me has everything. Nearby Agni Bay is amazing.

Agree, beautiful place. Not too loud and not too quiet

Greece at that time of the year is bellend-free; virtually no footy shirts and the rest of the uniform. Go for it!

Ipsos is 'lively'.
A good idea us to get somewhere just along from Corfu Town. A bus ride in. Then you get the best of all worlds. There is a day cruise to Albania, if you like sightseeing and that goes from Corfu Town port too.
Just ask anyone for Spiro, when you get there.

Mostly bellend-free, and not too hot unlike the summer months. Also, great for walking up in the hills/mountains where you can stumble across a hidden gem of a taverna.

Been going to St George’s Bay for the last 5 years. Staying at Costas Golden beach. It is certainly a quiet resort. On the North West coast. Direct bus to Corfu Town.

We go to Med Blue in Kavos. Situated on beach at Southern tip of the island it should be perfect in May. Family run hotel and reasonable rates. We go every September. Love it.

What, no Leeds fans. Surely that can't be the case. They're everywhere.

Love Corfu but would say early May and the weather can be a bit mixed as we found this year and not usually pool/beach weather so pick a resort with things to do. You could do worse than Corfu town itself which is lovely.

Kassiopi, Paleokastritsa fit the bill for what you want. If you are into your Bond locations, For Your Eyes Only was filmed there. Please do not go anywhere near Kavos.
