Now you sorted the They're, their, there problem, can you find one for the 'Them' instead of those?

Also, has a distribution for the letter H, to add to the 'as' we get on here sometimes. Eg He as is moments. Where as it all gone?

Carn't

Brought instead of bought. When people say they brought something I ask them were did they bring it from?

Top draw, instead of top drawer.

Norty instead of naughty

And my personal favourite, when I was once giving away some pumpkin plants, I was asked if I still had any punpkons left

Mum (Spades) would have been all over this thread.
A few of her pet peeves:
  • People who say less, when they mean fewer
  • "Different to..." when it should be "different from..."
  • ... and, of course, the abject horror of the misplaced or redundant apostrophe

On a recent RIP thread someone stated that such and such a person had “past away”. The pedant in me wanted to correct them. I refrained, guessing that I’d be accused of being disrespectful and, ahem, a pedant.
On this thread I feel amongst friends.

‘We was’ or ‘they was’ - see it loads on here and no idea where it comes from as I don’t know anyone who speaks like that.
