Currently being humiliated by Netherlands.
What happened to them? I thought they were very good only a matter of months ago?
I know it’s only the Nations League but looks like they’ll fail to make it to the latter stages. I’m sure the commentator said they have to win this game by a couple of goals but they are 2-0 behind.
Some awful defending and goalkeeping for England too tonight.

That 2nd goal was horrendous defending and even worse goalkeeping.

Picked up a bit this half and now back in it at 1-2.
Edit - make that right back in it - 2-2!

England look to be missing williamson rather badly. They have made beerensteijn look good, when she is usually a weak link as an attacking option.
This is a pretty attacking line up for nl. I'd prefer to see brugts further forward and an extra defender on. With this line up, it could end up 5-5. That said, they still look happy to have miedema sitting on the bench.

That James has been wasteful so far. Blazed all her chances high and wide and constantly picking the wrong pass.
I am sure I read an interview saying she was the best female player in the world (though it might have been her brother giving the interview!).

James isn't on the same level as dvdd or walsh. When either of those are on the ball, it suddenly doesn't look like women's football, although they have basically cancelled each other out for the most part.

they were poor that first half but fair play, picked up in the second.
They were raving about England’s keeper before the game and turns out her error has just about cost them qualifying for the latter stage.

When I read the France 14 Gibraltar 0 result, my immediate reaction was to wonder how many Gibraltar would beat the Lionesses by. Oops, sorry, can't say that sort of thing.
