Playing teams from the same city on the same day

Post by Sean Dyche's Watch » Sat Dec 02, 2023 4:23 am

Both us and Rovers are playing teams from the same city on the same day today.

I wonder if this has happened before?

Happened a few weeks ago on October 7th when we played Chelsea and they played QPR.

🤔
Sheffield has 2 teams ...

London has quite a few more than 2 ... so those odds increased substantially 🤣

Definitely happened on FA Cup 4th round day in 1966. We were at Spurs and they were at West Ham. We had a shared special train.
