Yesterdays pre match music

Not sure if this was an accident ? but we had cheesy 90’s songs playing literally right up until the players kicked off , the music only stopping JUST before the ref blew to start .
It felt almost bizzare that those 30/45 secs you get just before KO when the atmosphere naturally builds was drowned out by some bell-end dj. Unless this is part of the “ new atmosphere initiatives” brought in by the “ drum committee”??

Didn’t hear that, was late and grabbing a Bene.
Thought the atmosphere/music afterwards was pretty good though.

Erasure give a little respect was playing up until kick off.
Seemed an odd choice.

Gala’s freed from desire was great, us “older” fans were singing along to that, could become an anthem with a couple of subtle word changes

I think erasure and the rainbow laces were connected.
That said Sheffield continued the theme by playing like the Village People.

Jordan North was on the ground. Not sure if it was him being DJ?
When do they play the Premier league anthem? Despite attending 100s of Premier league games I've never noticed it, just read last week on social media that Everton fans wanted to boo it on their game.

Usually when the teams line up after they’ve walked out

If the Premier league is so wicked and corrupt, why are Everton fans desperate to stay in it ? Why when the dodgy money was pouring into the club did they not start a stop the corrupt money coming in campaign. They are getting beyond tedious the squaking whinging scouse gits.

Said the same yesterday don’t remember their outrage at the dodgy foreign investment they’ve received.

It's played as the team stand under the Premier League banners between walking out and the announcer announcing the home team lineup

How tinpot that we don’t even read out the opposition line up.

I thought that the erasure choice may have been an obvious rainbow laces thing , though seemed too cliched to be true . No issues if that’s the case , it wasn’t the music per se it was the playing until seconds before K.O

I agree, that's very poor indeed, and we no longer read out our subs, just the starting X1.
The team line ups are no longer displayed on the large screens so surely the away team could be read out even if only as a courtesy to visiting fans.
I like to know the visitors line up and sitting in one of the upper tiers can't always read names on the back of shirts.

Like fans can control where the money comes from?
Do you know where our funding comes from?

Sounds like jdrobbo was on the decks if erasure was blasting out? Was there anything from soft pop trio Keane by any chance?

Does anyone know what the track was that was played at half time, sounded a bit electronic dance with some heavy drumming thrown in, Thanks in advance.

It's a moment before the match which other clubs do much more than us currently. Nothing wrong with them trying something different and I'm sure the fans will let them know when they land on something that works.

If we get out of the bottom three it could be "freed from the mire"or not
