Feels very similar to the Westy situation last season.
Could Jack be looking around other clubs atm, trying to arrange a move for Jan?

If he wants regular football then yes he should.

But he's unlikely to find one that'll match his current salary, so unless BFC are offering to cover the difference, probably not.

That's assuming that all he's interested in.is money. Some footballers just want to play, especially they near the end of their careers.

Iβll be sorry to see Cork go, when the time comes.
Heβs been fantastic for us over his three spells.

He seems keen to get into coaching and we seem to be supporting that ambition, so perhaps he stays to develop his post-playing career?

I hope he stays on as a coach.......very intelligent player & seems to love being at Burnley.

Incredibly good player. So so so much better than many have given him credit for. Frightening just how many (and it was a lot) wrote him off 2-3 seasons ago, despite making us play better and our results being more consistent when he was on the side. Top pro, top person.

Not to mention ENGLAND INTERNATIONAL with Burnley.

I hope he stays the season at least.
When the time comes I hope he goes out on the pitch at Home.
Remember Popes debut and the chant?
So easy to do. "Jack Cork - in the middle of our team".
The Gent owes us nothing - he's been great on and off the pitch and still has a place in the BFC jigsaw imho.
Respect and Big Thanks if he decides to go. Hope he stays.
Underated, not the quickest yet assured. Always switched on and reads the game, aware of what is happening and directs others.
Both him and Mee (+Tarks) basically kept the team tight and organised. Points came in.

Never fails to amaze me-the volume of nostalgia on this Board. Jack has been a fantastic servant, and did well to get the current contract, but these footballers are on fantastic wages earning more in a week than many readers earn in a year. THey are all on relatively short contracts too, and have agents handling their business, and any potential future moves . THey all know first team selection is not a given-even players like Foden, Grealish, Richarlison and many others have this problem

Jack deserves to stay on as a coach, possibly along with Jay?

If for nothing else he should be a legend for the tackle & pass at Ewood in April which set Benson away.

I know - crazy isnβt it. Burnley supporters on a supporters forum feeling nostalgic about players for the team they support.
Madness.

Feel as though he could still be useful for us, at least from the bench. When leading games we could do with his experience in there.

Agree. There have been so many times this season when having Cork on in the middle to help manage the game and keep everyone in line would have been so helpful. A night watchman type role to help see out games.
