Young Wilson a special player, 2 goals in 3 starts?

He turned 19 a week ago btw
CRAZY the talent we have on that wing.

19 feels a bit old for this side though

Not a question of moaning it’s just stating the bleeding obvious that this keeper is a liability, watch a full replay and see how many times he gives possession away ,needs binning.
You need binning, you’ve offered zero support to this young developing side.

Bloody hell what a goal. Out of nothing,Benson II?

There's nothing else to go off though. You can only compare with the data you have. Again we sign players based on data from other leagues and how we expect it to compare. It's the only data we have without Muric getting a chance so it's the only comparison possible.

And knock off the strawmanning. I don't think he's **** or want him out the club. I give him credit when warranted I just think the tactical setup we have lends itself to Muric far more than Trafford playstyle wise, that we can't say Trafford is a better shot stopper for certain even if he's a decent one but that if we want to play it out Muric is better suited, if we have to stick with Trafford we need to tweak tactics as it's doing him no favours, that I think in the future he will be a top keeper but if we have any ambition of stopping up we need to pick the best players now not on future and right now I'm yet to be convinced he's better than Muric.

It's exhausting to have people misrepresent your argument to shut down debate and just makes the whole topic polarised and toxic. I don't hate Trafford I just think we're doing him and the team no favours with this stubbornness
I get the point but we’ve heard it all already when it was more deserving. Now it’s every intricacy of his game that’s being criticised just to keep the point relevant. Let’s just enjoy the game instead of trying to pick out the negatives of one player all the tim particularly when there’s more good than bad in these rare occasions so far this season. That’s all I’m saying .

The interesting thing here, and I am in no way getting ahead of myself, is our record at Brighton and our record overall with Hooper as ref (7 wins, 2 defeats).

For some light relief

Boris has been going into the COVID inquiry this week wearing a bobble hat supporting Grimsby Town

The people of Grimsby are in uproar claiming it is bringing down their reputation

Can’t lie, I thought that was a poor first half. I thought we were much better vs Wolves but instead of conceding we took our chance. I also thought Vitinho was exceptionally poor and sloppy. Robert’s on at HT for me.

We've been so much better since arsenal away. Just not had the results, hopefully we'll cling on today! It's telling I think if we restarted the season now with this experience I genuinely think we'd stay up no problem

In the context of them being a very good side and at home, per bigvince’s point, maybe being a bit harsh. Maybe I’m tarring the team with the Vitinho’s brush.

Just please hold on now lads. Other results going against us so need to just dig in.

I know what you're saying, but I also think his performance on the day is based on people's perception of him. Today for instance I'd say he's been one of our best players. Some of the ground passes into amdouni have been perfect, and two excellent saves. He's looked calm and assured.

He’s been fine, a few good saves - one or two good ones in to Amdouni but passing has been largely poor.

It’s more than that though; it’s the speed of thought, ability in passing AND receiving. Chalk and cheese for me.

This is literally all I was trying to say but now I’m accused of strawmanning and making the Trafford out crowd emotional. I genuinely think there would still be the same noises if he kept 10 consecutive clean sheets. I could understand the criticisms when we were more fragile at the back with the keeper being a part of the issue but the same is still being said when there has been real improvement in all areas.
