We’ve just got a point away at one of the most progressive teams in the league. Give it a rest.
Give it a rest? Who are you!

Lucky today and a good performance by Trafford. 4-1 otherwise...and it'd be the same again.

Trafford masterclass. Concerned about left back position for Everton match now Chas is suspended. That is 2 cameo appearances where Tressor is showing something.

Great performance from Trafford, defence and midfield still very shaky

Good point.
Quick thoughts: magnificent Trafford but still needs to work on distribution.
Adingra made Charlie look very poor without appearing to have a trick.
Still loads of improvement needed.

Hopefully that match is the making of Trafford because he was outstanding today and fair play to him 🔥🔥🔥

Regardless of my reservations about his distribution causing problems with our tactical approach, Trafford's shot stopping got us that point today, superb second half performance from him some unreal saves. Stand by it that we should rethink our tactics at the back with him but that was a very Popesque, Heatonesque performance all round from him.

At one nil if Jay Rod got a little bit more on it it would have gone in, keeper didn't know much about it hitting his leg. That's not a criticism.

Great point

Good point, would have taken it this morning. Still lots of improvement needed of course. I hope we can hang around points wise until some of our young lads improve just that little bit needed. Wish Jay had managed to bundle that one in. Should have.

Mentioned this the other day, but we're showing some bottle now at least - it's not pretty, and I'm not on board with some of Kompany's decisions today, but there's definitely a bit more about us to dig out a result. Sounds like Traff was immense. Crucial point considering results elsewhere.

Reminded me a bit of wouts missing against villa when we went down. As the striker there you have to go high

Horrible to watch. Team fought hard but clearly we are way from PL standard. Interstate that Wilder turns Sheff U round. Wonder if Pace noticed that !!!

We did, but you've got to put them away.
Otherwise it's pretty irrelevant.

Exactly my point, if we score than goal at Wolves and then today, how many more points is that? We will sadly never know but they’re almost unmissable chances.

Hopefully Foster is doing ok and will be back soon as I think he would make a big difference. Brighton aren't the best defensively and he would have bullied them.

I disagree. This was a solid away game for the lads.

I don’t like our tactics and substitutions in the 2nd half, but we were hardly “way from PL standard” today.

James Trafford has come of age today, simply magnificent!
Completely agree.

I’ve been calling for Muric’ return, albeit stopped when it became obvious it’s not going to happen, and I do support Kompany in backing his players and allowing them to improve. I know Trafford will improve, just like Muric did.

Wont lie, when Trafford was playing all those crap balls in to the middle I was praying that he’d bring Muric on. I’m still undecided, I just think the way we play might be better with him, but he is absolutely unquestionably the better shot stopper. Some of his saves there were world class. Showed balls of steel out there.

Nothing but admiration for him and long may that continue. We’ll need him in that form to stand a chance.

It's difficult to point to individual chances. It's games like Palace at home where we just should have won no question. Particularly relevant now palace are right down there

Starting to look like we can be competitive in this league. I hope it’s not too late.
That's true but there's lots of points to play for and we've shown we are there or thereabouts in getting them over the last 5 or 6 games.

At the very least we will be going down swinginging which would bode better for next season if we do drop

Pressing, attacking and luck don't guarantee points, look at us at Forest, v West Ham, Palace, United, and probably more. We could have been 2-0 before their equaliser, they could have been 4-1, as you claim. Doesn't matter, the result will go down in history as 1-1 and no-one will care what could have been or should have been!

Should have been 5 points from 3 games without the Wolves mistake which we'd have snatched people's hands off.

Trafford shot stopping today was excellent but his distribution was shocking. He certainly won us a point today which is better than the points he often costs us.
Don’t know what the deal is with Ramsey but he must hate being at Burnley and Villa must be well happy

Dropped plenty of points we didn't deserve to this season, we finally get a point against the run of play.
Fingers crossed it shows our luck is about to turn.

Ramsey was injured when we signed him and with him wearing a brace, maybe this is a bigger problem than first considered.

Has he been rushed into playing I wonder? Sports science should prevent this but it sure looks a bit iffy him getting injured like he has so far.
