We were never in it and wouldn't have scored if we'd played til next Saturday. I had high hopes for the players we signed, but some of them are looking woeful.

I don't think anyone can keep us up with this squad. The mistake was creating pretty much a brand new 11 after an unreal season. All I know is vk has shown he can do it in the championship. We're going down regardless now I feel so may as well see this season out, forget about it and go again next season with major lessons learned.

It's sad to say this but things aren't going to get better with Kompany in charge. His style of play fundamentally doesn't work with these players in the PL. You can't expect to score every goal with a short passing move, starting in defence and ending with a tap in in the opposition box. We're not Man City. Put Jackson or Bellamy in charge of this team, they'll switch up the style of play and we'll be better for it.

Anyone saying "Kompany knows the Championship, let's go down with him" is kidding themselves. Carry on like this and he'll lose the dressing room long before that.

No manager saves this lot, you act like VK can just clap his hands and Dara O’Shea turns into Sergio Ramos. Or he claps his hands we suddenly become better defensively.

The truth and reality is, a lot of these players simply are not good enough for this level and most never ever will be.

You can cry all you want about Muric or Trafford but the truth is neither are good enough at commanding their box.

You can use players not starting to hammer VK, pretend Larsen is some brilliant player who’s hard done by to not start. That is until he starts and you’re faced with reality, he’s bang average and not good enough.

Why is he our ‘best chance’?

No one is bigger than the club.

We create nothing everything is so slow and backwards all the time, our first thought is to give it to the defence or keeper.
Everton(DYCHE!!) played it out from the back on a few occasions a few passes from there own box and they was flying down our wings, we can't press everything is unbalanced, weak and predictable

It's reyt, we'll beat Fulham

We’ve took a punt on hoping we can bring in some unproven relatively cheap players and mould them into a competitive team at this level and it hasn’t worked YET.

Always going to be a tough ask building a PL team from scratch to survive within such a short period.

We are not even watching potential. Every player we have signed falls a long way short of being a PL player.
Of course some will argue about the merits of this player and that but the bottom line is this is one big mess

The basic error is if you don't look like scoring at least 2 goals in most games you MUST setup to be difficult to beat. Except against another championship team the other week we have look easy to score against and found it difficult to create chances.
Principles and styles are fine IF you have the squad capable of doing that in this league - we have had enough games to prove we have,nt. Amazingly he needs to do the opposite of what we wanted SD to do !!!!!

I don’t know what we are.

No good in possession
Not a pressing team
Can’t defend
Don’t create clear cut chances

Squads a mess, that was shocking today really. Teams literally need to do nothing to beat us.

Worst performance of season. No fight or intensity and watching the same inept players who are nowhere near this level being picked week in week out Trafford, Vithinio, OShea etc.
Also a worrying trend of Kompany and his coaches not reacting to what is going on during the game in terms of substitutions. Has he made a sub this season that has had any impact on the game??

you must have had your eyes closed, we got in behind them at least 4 or 5 times and couldn't find the final pass, Amdouni shot, Foster header and all that is without me thinking about it. We got into better positions during outfield play than Everton did - we just can't match their physicality.

Bit of an over reaction. If not for the point reduction Everton would be on par with Brighton in the table. Anyone expecting a result against them is expecting too much.

We need to beat the sides who will be near us at the end of the season. If we can do that we'll stay up.

Getting into positions but failing to find the final pass, isn't creating, it's failing
