Went to this game, dreadful display.
Started off in the White Horse at Parsons Green as usual, good pub.
Decided to bale out at 0-3 and adjourn to the Slug and Lettuce on Fulham Broadway. All in all, the days boozing was decidedly better than the footie.

Which admittedly wouldn't have been hard....

Beyond dreadful wasn’t it?

I was at this game and it was one of the most dismal experiences ever watching Burnley. Back in day the away end was an open terrace so not only did we have to witness this massively tame surrender we got absolutely soaked in the process.

My abiding memory of the game is one of a player called Hewlett a loanee who must be a strong candidate for the worst player ever to pull on a Burnley shirt. I seem to recollect he took a corner in the first half and put it straight out of play for a goal kick at the near post side of the pitch. Quite some level of ineptitude.

I also remember Chris Coleman looking like Gulliver compared to our players.

Wet through, soaked even before kick off. It continued to lash down, horrible day. Left at 3/0. Thanks for reminding me Tony.

Wow, 25 years ago! 4-0 totally flattered us. As with others the pre-match session was the only saving grace of a horror show. My abiding memory is just what an awful player John O’Kane was. Still at least we kept up our amazing home record against Fulham later that season, something I don’t think will happen this season

Had great pedigree and was tipped for the top. Class of '92.

Sadly, he was Gus Caesar mkII.

We broke down pre game on Putney High Street. Eventually got to the game late to witness us being absolutely dominated.
Remember it pouring down seemingly for most of the game.
To top it off my best mate is a Fulham fan and was there too - we'll also both be there on Saturday.
Can't remember how we got home without a car.
Miserable day.

This was the game that the fans sang
“Cheer up Frankie Teasdale
What can it mean
We are 4 million in debt with a **** football team”

Before the match I met Stan outside the ground and he admitted the players were no where near good enough in a matter of fact manner. He was right!

Horsfield n Peschisolido Karren Brady's favourite partnership

A team far too good not only for us but the division that season
