Re: Today's Games
Leeds making Ipswich look very ordinary 3-0.
Re: Re: Today's Games
4 nil now. Wonder if the wheels might start to come off now for Ipswich?

Still 7 pts clear of Leeds I think. And a decent outfit in that league. Leeds would do well to catch them. I think it'll be close by end of April

Re: Today's Games
Done remarkably well, Ipswich. Not convinced they're going to last the pace though (at least as far as top two is concerned)
Thought for a while that the amount of goals they concede is going to be their biggest problem. Conceded the same amount as QPR who are 22nd now

Re: Re: Today's Games
One of them weird ones that if we go down we want Leicester, Leeds and Soton to come up, whereas if we stay up we don’t. Likelihood is that Leeds result is good for us.
In the West Ham game that Kudos has done it again, we have lost a few points this year to real quality, his intervention against us being 3 of them.

Re: Re: Today's Games
Surely Man Utd manager must be next for the chop, they are appalling.
Re: Today's Games
Squad depth will count as season goes into deep winter. Ipswich might struggle. Found out now. 2nd half much harder.matttheclaret wrote: ↑Sat Dec 23, 2023 1:55 pmDone remarkably well, Ipswich. Not convinced they're going to last the pace though (at least as far as top two is concerned)

Arsenal go ahead. VAR once again takes too long to confirm the goal. The still they showed on tv should be enough to say, yes that’s pretty much level - goal.

Didn’t Arsenal have a 2 goal lead at Anfield last season?

I as about to say Salah has lost some of his sharpness. Seems I was premature.
