Totally agree Vegas.

With Luton winning and the need to start making a push towards Forest it was approaching the point of must win territory, if you look at the table. Absolutely huge.

Mmmm… before the season started, you’d snap the hand off anyone offering the same form as
Them two. Now tho, I’m not so sure…

Also better form than most of the bottom 10 (Everton excluded, who are doing very well now).

Highlights DVD this season will mostly be yellow and black

Couldn't get 7 from those games, even if we win them all

Absolutely. Huge win, could be the springboard to finally turn it round this season and start clicking. Vital looking at the other results. Wasn't the best performance at all but the fact we saw out the lead with a clean sheet is a huge positive sign for me.

For me the significance is as much the win against a non-promoted team as anything else. Of course, the main deal is the 3 vital points getting us back into touch with teams outside the relegation places.

No points for cup games

The three points are big, but equally important is that we’ve shown we can go to a middling team like Fulham and beat them. There are some ‘should win’ games in this league and we’ve won a couple of them, but there are a lot of ‘could win’s’ and it’s vital that we take some of those opportunities. 4 points from Brighton and Fulham away is a great return. We need to kick on now and make Turf Moor a difficult place to play.
Unfortunately 4 of the next 5 games look incredibly tough so we will need to pick up three points in the home game against Luton during that run and hope for another point if possible.

Tremendous support from our travelling support and the lads did us proud against a side who has scored 5 twice at home

Massive win and also one of our most Dychian performance under Kompany. 34% possession, 0.51 xg, only 7 shots, more of this please.

Great win for the Clarets but let's take one game at a time and special praise for the fans who travelled in numbers and got behind the team..

And but for effing Jones and VAR we’d be 3 points closer to Florist and above Luton.

Well done the 20 posters commenting on this positive thread. If it was a crushing defeat there would be 200 posts by now. If it bleeds, it leads.
But yes, massive win. Basically it has reversed the Everton defeat. We could have won at Wolves and did here (we deserved a draw at best at Brighton and Arsenal).
Need to sort the home form but we have only lost 3 games I’d expect to win - bullied out of one. Dominated the other two who both showed ruthlessness to snatch a win they didn’t deserve.
I see us as in there now with Forest, we just need one more quick win from somewhere ideally, but I’d take a draw on Tuesday.

A brilliant win. Chalk and cheese compared to the majority of games this season. Let’s hope it’s a change in fortunes.

Indeed. It's been such a long time coming and a major criticism. It will be harnessed by VK to spur the lads on.
