D 10 (he missed so much because he was trying to tell players off constantly - he missed a yellow when a LFC player kicked the ball away because he was too busy trying to assert his authority, which showed he had little)

A bit like Rob Jones, a ref who loves the limelight and wants the camera on him.

The two disallowed goals by VAR were interesting and seeing them numerous times on TV the pundits agreed that both could have stood .
These had a bigger impact on the game than the odd miss foul or free kick

Only just the right side of the line of acceptability. Never truly dreadful but demonstrated a continual level of "soft bias" towards the big boys.

Exemplarised by Berge's soft booking and his refusal to book Darwin.

Oh, forgot to mention the "do over" that was awarded for their foul throw.

Does anybody know when British refs invented this non-existent rule?

Booked Trent then watched Trent immediately kick the ball away and failed to book him for the second offence.

I also thought helping Trent to waste time by telling him not to waste time (instead of booking him) then not adding much time on for the time wasting he acknowleged was more than a bit odd.

Some of these low marks, particularly for consistency, I find baffling. Thought he had a very good game overall.

Although I agree with the booking for Berge the ref had his yellow card out before the opponent hit the ground. It was the first foul and the opponent was still in his own half. When he had chance to ‘level’ things up he hesitated, gave himself time to think about it and then left his card in his pocket perhaps wondering what Klopp would say about it.

I know I’m biased but I feel this happens most games at Turf.

Saying that we got the benefit of doubt with the disallowed Elliot goal although that was probably down to VAR.
