I just hope we give them a good game.
I can’t stand Liverpool, scousers, Klopp and anything associated with them.

We need one of those ‘signature types of wins’ against a top team that you need to Greta in your Premier League status
Here’s hoping that it comes today.

Need a proper cold icy East Lancashire wind blowing hard across the Turf tonight. That will sort the the softy scousers out.

Decent line up, not sure about Tresor.
No Benson or Zaroury on bench....injury or what now?

I’m also confused by Zaroury not being played this season.criminalclaret wrote: ↑Tue Dec 26, 2023 4:39 pmNo Benson or Zaroury on bench....injury or what now?

Wish we knew what the craic was with Benson.
Just feel Trésor is about to explode into the limelight with a break out performance. Fingers crossed

Re: Burnley Vs Liverpool - Match Thread
Seven out injured (I presume).
Re: Burnley Vs Liverpool - Match Thread
Zaroury seems to be getting a really hard time this season. Can only guess that Kompany puts a lot of importance on training levels and his isnt up to scratch.
Re: Burnley Vs Liverpool - Match Thread
Saw the TWO Liverpool team coaches exiting Crow Wood. Why do you need 2 coaches from Liverpool???

Re: Burnley Vs Liverpool - Match Thread
We're scrapping a relegation battle, is there any harm in using in a half baked Zaroury just to test him and see if he's up to scratch? Especially with Kolesho injury
It's what you do on the pitch that matters, if his attitude is crap get rid but it doesn't seem to be the case.

Surely anything we can get out of today would be a massive bonus in the grand scheme of things………
Re: Burnley Vs Liverpool - Match Thread
Well, yes. He has to earn his shirt through training performances. Im guessing hes not doing that so lets not hand out appearances unless they are deserved..thats how you maintain standardscriminalclaret wrote: ↑Tue Dec 26, 2023 4:53 pmWe're scrapping a relegation battle, is there any harm in using in a half baked Zaroury just to test him and see if he's up to scratch? I'd love this team to work but I worry its a bit lacking defensive intensity in the front 4.

I'm more worried about Elliott being in the team. I think he is a very good player and could cause us a lot of problems.

Re: Burnley Vs Liverpool - Match Thread
I like Brun Larsen but can't argue too much with him making way after his last couple performances. Would probably have gone with Gudmundsson or Redmond but this is Tresor's chance to finally show what he was signed for.
Expecting a hiding, hoping for a point.

Tending to over elaborate at the back playing out of defence and getting caught in possession. That is the big worry for me against the scousers.

Unfortunately, a difference in quality.
2 shots on the edge of the area. 2 different outcomes.

Appallingly easy. And after a fabulous opportunity, self created, from which Amdouni should have done loads better.
Got to show more intensity
