Hi there I'm struggling to set up a printer to my devices at home. Does anyone know of a computer geek who would do a home visit and help set up. I'm at Lanehead.

From experience, having your printer switched on and attached vis the correct cable, your computer should automatically look online for a driver.
I'm no further help I'm afraid. I didn't have to do anything when I bought mine other than plug it in.

if you know the printer make and model and the types of devices you want to connect - I'm sure the experts on here could advise by googling the info for you and then simplifying the process into understandable steps for you

I would but I am not local unfortunately. Best bet is to get on YouTube and search for a video that shows you how to connect a printer that is the same model as yours. If no videos are available with the same model, then see if there is a video setting up a printer that is the same brand as yours.

I had trouble with a HP pc and printer not bluetooth pairing. It turned out they were just out of range. Moving the printer nearer to the pc & modem all worked fine.

Agree. You should be able to plug in and computer does rest. You tell it the model, when it asks and all is well.
