Give yourself a bit more time tonight if you are coming in via Gannow Top and Westgate. There temporary lights AGAIN opposite the Nissan garage.
Road isn't actually dug up, its work on the pavement that some company has dug up and just left their **** in the gutter.
No one working as usual.

Are they still there?
It has been backing up pretty bad around Gannow all week, but I noticed it eased up last night and also this morning on my commute.

Just to add, there are roadworks and temporary traffic lights on Colne road outside The Oaks, so expect queues there as well.

Not to mention the hugely overrunning ones at parliament street/tod road roundabout

It would probably be easier to list the roads
where there are NO roadworks or disruptions.
I don't know who plans it all but they need to go on
a refresher course.

Yes, Tod Rd/Parliament Street, originally set up by Cadent to find a gas leak in November for a fortnight, lasted 6 weeks and didn’t find the leak. Now set up on the other side of the mini roundabout and due to finish today, but now extended until the 25th at the earliest. Workmen? No, plenty of tumbleweed though.

I've been into and through town now a couple of times over the last week, sadly Burnley is turning into the new Colne and trying to replicate the disaster that is Vivary Way and the North Valley. It took me nearly half an hour to get from the M65 to Sandy Gate the other evening. I do hope that this isn't a sign of motoring to come in Burnley.

Preparing us for a Burnley congestion charge
